Likha Internet Solutions will be holding a seminar entitled, “Internet Marketing for SMEs and Micro Businesses” on September 11, 2009, 8:00am-5:00pm at the Teachers Conference Center in Batangas City.

This seminar aims to provide future Marketing and Business Professionals with vital information on how small capital businesses can utilize the Internet to reach their marketing goals. The talks will cover the basics of Internet Marketing, Search Engine Marketing, and Advertising on Blogs and Social Media Networks like Facebook.

Among the speakers are Engr. Jesus Rommelson Cantos, Marhgil Macuha and Abraham Olandres.

Speakers’ Profile

Rommel Cantos is a Bachelor of Science Major in Electronics and Communications Engineering graduate of Ateneo de Manila University in 2004. After graduation, he has worked for International companies like eTelecare Global Solutions and Canon Information Technologies, Inc. (both located in Eastwood, Libis, Q.C.) and specializes in the field of Information Technology and Software Development. In the online world, he is best known for his websites GuitarTutee.com and WOWBatangas.com which started as hobbies and ended up as springboards for his business ideas. He currently teaches under the CS and ECE Departments of De La Salle Lipa, and at the same time manages Likha Internet Solutions, a Website Design and Internet Marketing firm based here in Batangas.

Marhgil Macuha on the other hand, is a 2001 Computer Engineering graduate of Batangas State University, awarded Outstanding Student. He is the current IT Administrator of a Fortune 500 listed Corporation and one of the biggest retailer groups in Japan. Although working full-time, he is a certified blogger and currently owns several personal websites. Last year, he published the Guerilla Blogging E-book, after getting 2nd place overall in the Ituloy Angsulong SEO Contest. With his online accomplishments, many people in the Philippine blogging community look up to him in the field of Search Engine Optimization. They frequent Marhgil’s personal website macuha.com for tips on how to get more visitors for their websites, and learn more about the frequently searched keywords “how to make money online”.

And lastly, Abraham Olandres, more commonly known as Yuga in the Philippine Online Community, is the blogger behind Yugatech.com and the owner of Ploghost Internet Services, a leading website hosting company in the Philippines. He graduated year 2000 with a degree in BS Chemistry and Computer Engineering at Ateneo de Manila University, and has worked for several IT companies including Microsoft. In 2003, he put up his own web hosting company (PlogHost Internet Services), and has since then been recognized as one of the leading experts in Search Engine Marketing, Internet Consulting and Online Advertising in the Philippines. Yuga has been to several countries like Germany, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan moderating seminars, and is regularly tapped as a radio or TV resource person for his views and comments on the Philippine IT industry. He is one of the main speakers of the prestigious Search Engine Marketing Conference (SEMCON) Philippines in 2008 while being one of the organizers himself.

Deadline of Registration and Fees

Interested participants may confirm their attendance on or before August 28, 2009. The registration fee per participant is P250. This amount will cover the expenses for the speakers’ fee, food (lunch and snacks), venue, conference kit and logistics.
