One of our first clients, JRM Photo Video approached us with one thing in mind– they want to showcase their work online and in the process get customers through their online portfolio. JRM was a group of young, talented and creative guys who decided to do professional wedding with their personal SLRs, counting on talent alone. They showed us their work and we decided to accept the challenge of putting their business online.

As with all businesses, the three guys of JRM got their first clients from family referrals and friends. Since it was just a weekend job for them, one client in a month was already heaven. Half-a-year into their business, the guys hit a snag, getting only one client for the next five months. That was a low moment for the business, but instead of closing shop, the JRM guys decided to do something about their marketing strategy. You see, these guys believe in the quality of the work, and hold themselves comparable to photographers and videographers in Manila. The lack of client was not an option for them. After an overnight meeting, they decided to invest more into the business by putting up a professional website for JRM. After that, we talked to them and asked their requirements, and the project was immediately carried out.

First, they wanted a website which they could easily update especially when they have a new client which they can feature on their website. Check.

Second, in relation to the first requirement, they wanted to have full control on their own website, especially when changes to Packages and Product Pricing should be done immediately. In short, they wanted to have their own administrative account for their website. Check.

Third, the website should be simple yet elegant, and should feature all of their products on the homepage. Check.

Lastly, they wanted their website to be able to help them get clients through online searches. OFWs and even people wanting to get married in Batangas go to Google and Yahoo to search for local photographers and videographers that can fulfill their needs for a good wedding coverage, without upping their budget. These people must be able to directly find JRM Photo Video in the search engine results. Check.

The wedding photography website for JRM was finally launched August of 2008, and in a month, they were able to get a stream of clients, mostly from couples who are returning home from other countries to wed in Batangas. A receiving office became necessary (they meet clients in malls before the website) and the ROI (Return of Investment for websit expenses) was achieved in two months. Right now, their website is still the only marketing tool that JRM Photo Video and they get clients almost every week.

The initial problems that JRM Photo Video faced has been the problem of most photographers and artists here in Lipa and the Batangas area.
